Products affected: Gocycle G1; all frame numbers
Description
In some cases, the G1 Gocycle will emit sounds to alert the rider of a necessary warning. These warning are audibly different:
Audible Sound(s) | Description | Action Required |
Ten (10) discrete “beeps” occurring approximately every 2 minutes

Low Battery Warning Alarm
This is to signify that the battery has reached a critically low voltage
|
Charge the battery at the earliest convenience. Avoiding charging at this low voltage state may cause irreparable damage to the battery and as a result might affect the Gocycle performance. |
One (1) discrete “beep” occurs after approximately 10 seconds, followed by:
Two (2) discrete “beeps” occur after approximately 50 seconds, follows by:
Three (3) discrete “beeps” occur after approximately 60 seconds.

Intermittent Connection Alarm
This is to signify that there is a poor or intermittent connection within the circuitry, most likely related to the mode change/power button. |

Multiple discrete “beeps” are heard when the pedal cranks and/or rear wheel are turned. The frequency of the “beeps” increases as their speed of revolution increases. |
Diagnostics Mode
The Gocycle is in Diagnostics Mode. A “beep” will be heard when the pedal sensor and/or rear wheel sensor detect(s) movement. There will be four discrete “beeps” per complete revolution. Consult the Gocycle Owner’s Manual for more information. |
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RIDE YOUR GOCYCLE WHILST IN DIAGNOSTIC MODE.
To exit Diagnostic Mode, press the red power button once to return to Pedelec Mode.

The warning alarms are designed to keep the Gocycle performing well and the rider safe. Follow the advice given and the action required in the above table.
Can I Continue to Ride my Gocycle?
On the assumption that your Gocycle is not emitting warning signals, you can continue to ride your Gocycle. If you hear warning sounds, consult the above table for appropriate action.
