For G2, G3, and GS models, you should remove the wheels periodically to check the hubs for wear. Please see Section 7.10 of the GS Product Manual, or Section 6.10 of the G3 Product Manual for more details.
You can minimise hub wear by:
- Cleaning your Gocycle after each ride, paying close attention to the hubs and wheels
- Correctly adjust your PitstopWheel cam levers. Check from time to time that their free play is
within the guidelines stated in the manual and that all three on each wheel open and close
with equal pressure. - Swap the wheels from front to rear, and vice-versa, from time to time. In Normal usage the rear of the Gocycle carries more load than the front, so swapping wheels will help distribute wear more evenly.
