How to repair a puncture
You are likely to get a puncture at some point in time. If you get a puncture, you should bring the Gocycle to a safe stop and stop riding the Gocycle until the tube has been replaced of repaired as you may damage the rim of the wheel.
If you need help changing the tyre, you may want to remove the PitstopWheel® and take it to your local bicycle shop where a technician can repair the puncture or replace the inner tube for you. Like any bicycle maintenance, you should expect to pay for this service.
If you choose to change the flat tire yourself, The single sided fork and Cleandrive of the Gocycle make changing the flat easier than on other bikes. It is not a requirement to remove the wheel to repair or change the inner tube
Gocycle uses standard BMX/20in/406 size tyres and tubes. We recommend using a tube for 20in x 1.75in tyres. We recommend that you only use Gocycle approved tyres that can be purchased from the Gocycle webstore.
Replacing the inner tube
