Factory State
When a new Gocycle is delivered, it will be in 'Factory State'. The motor will not function unless the Setup or PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) has been completed using the Gocycle Connect App. If you have a Gocycle with electronic Dash display, the LEDs will blink in the pattern below:

All Gocycle owners can complete Setup using the Gocycle Connect App. Once this has been completed, the Gocycle will be registered to the owner, and the Gocycle will be activated fully. No further action is required.
All Gocycle dealers can complete a PDI on a new Gocycle using the App. This will activate full motor function, and put the bike into Delivery State.
Delivery (Demo) State
After a dealer has completed the PDI process using the App, the Gocycle is then in Delivery State (aka Demo State). In Delivery State, the Gocycle will function as normal for 60 miles (100km). After 60 miles (100km) the motor will stop. If you have a Gocycle with electronic Dash display, the LEDs will blink in the pattern below:
If the Gocycle has used all of its Demo miles, the Gocycle dealer can connect to the bike and reset the demo miles from the Settings menu. This gives another 60 miles (100km) of demo miles. This process can be repeated as many times as necessary.
After a bike has been sold to a customer, the customer needs to complete the Setup process to register the App. Once this has been completed, the Gocycle is fully activated. The option to reset demo miles is no longer required and will not be available.
