DRL Modes
The Daytime Running Light (DRL) has or 4 different modes. Each mode is indicated by the blue LEDs on the dash. Modes are selected by rotating the left twist switch away from you.
The DRL will turn on automatically to the default mode when the Gocycle starts moving. When the Gocycle has been stationary for 60 seconds the DRL will turn off.
To turn the DRL on and off manually, rotate the left twist switch away from you for approximately 5 seconds.
Gocycles with a DRL are delivered from the factory with the flashing modes 2 and 4 disabled, as some countries do not allow flashing cycle lights. We recommend that you consult the regulations for your country or region.
Mode 1: Low Beam Static
This mode is shown as 1 blue LED on the dashboard. This mode has a solid light and is recommended for use in low light or night time riding conditions.
Mode 2: Low Beam Flashing
This mode is shown as 2 blue LEDs on the dashboard. This mode has a solid light complemented by a flashing strobe effect. It is recommended for use in low light or night time riding conditions and is based on rider preference.
Mode 3: High Beam Solid
This mode is shown as 3 blue LEDs on the dashboard and has a solid light brighter then Mode 1 and Mode 2 and is only recommended for use during daylight riding conditions.
Mode 4: High Beam Flashing
This mode is shown as 4 blue LEDs on the dashboard. This mode has a solid light with the brightness of Mode 3 complemented by a flashing strobe effect. It is only recommended for use during daylight riding conditions and is based on rider preference. Note: some countries do not allow flashing cycle lights. We recommend that you consult the relevant national safety organization or a reputable cycle dealer on what the minimum recommended lighting requirements are in your particular country or region.
