Gocycle G4 Light and G4i Light and DRL Operation

G4 and G4i Lights

The front and rear light for the Gocycle G4 and G4i of bikes automatically switch on when the bike detects the rear wheel moving. They will automatically switch off after 60 seconds of no detected movement.

On the G4i, if the DRL is off then the front and rear lights are also off. 

On the G4 the front and rear lights are always on. 

G4i and G4i+ DRL 

On the G4i and G4i+ the settings can be changed using the GocycleConnect app with the steps below - 

1. In the GocycleConnect app, connect to your Gocycle and press the settings icon in the top right corner.
2. Set the Default DRL Mode to one of the four 'ON' modes or to "OFF"
3. When the default DRL mode is on the lights and DRL will switch on when the bike detects it is moving.
4. When the default DRL mode is off, the lights will only switch on if you use the left twist switch to turn the DRL on.

The lights can also be switched on and off from the Live Dash screen of the app on G4i and G4i+ Gocycles.
