About firmware versions
Power and maximum speed are determined by the firmware that is installed onto the Gocycle via the app.
Depending on your region, during initial setup you may be shown different firmware versions , you should choose the firmware that is appropriate for your region.
Electric bicycle regulations relating to speed, motor power, pedal and throttle controls vary throughout the world.
Please consult your local electric bicycle regulations before downloading the appropriate firmware for your region.
We are continually working to review and improve Gocycle and Gocycle-related products and to ensure that all products conform to applicable international safety standards and legislation.
As more legislation becomes clear or changes, we will release new firmware to suit that legislation.
