G4 G4i G4i+ Bluetooth Reset

If you are experiencing issues connecting to your G4 G4i G4i+, you can perform a Bluetooth reset.

There are two ways of resetting the Bluetooth:

 

Option 1- Reset from the GocycleConnect app

  1. Connect to the Gocycle
  2. Go to the Gocycle settings,
  3. Press 'RESET BLE'
  4. Read the steps and press 'RESET BLE MODULE' 
  5. After the Bluetooth reset, you must forget the Gocycle in the Bluetooth settings of your device.

 

Option 2 - Bike Bluetooth Reset

For this option, your bike needs to be updated to the Firmware 2.3.

If you cannot connect to the app, you need to close the app from your phone.

  1. Make sure the bike is switched on
  2. Hold the boost button* for 30 seconds until  the Gocycle beeps
  3. Release the boost button
  4. After the Bluetooth reset, you must forget the Gocycle in the Bluetooth settings of your device.

 

*Left twist switch down for G4i/G4i+ or boost button for G4.
